LDI is based in Invercargill, Southland & is the Southern most Salsa club in the world. Jules & Rachelle (our founders) had a passion for Latin Dance & started our club for like minded adults to learn to dance, have fun & meet new people. We pride ourselves on our Southern hospitality, inclusiveness & focus on fun.

We're a Non-Profit organisation, now run by a committee of friendly locals. All class fees go directly back into the club for our members benefit, dance development & social team building activities. We meet regularly to plan all upcoming events, class content & obligations as a non-profit club.

Beginners? If you can walk & count to 8, we can teach you to salsa!!! 

We have a once-a-year intake for beginners, usually around March. No experience is required, just a smile & willingness to try something new. We're proudly growing the Southern most club in the world, and often have 40+ beginners in our classes.

Missed or unsure about classes? Come to Social night, every Thursday @ The Lonestar, from 8:15 pm. Meet our dance family, see what it's all about, listen to some music, dance... Join the Party!
